The Lucky Duck owners are a married couple from Wisconsin, Dale and Tricia.  They fell in love with Belize, its jungles, ocean, waterfalls, wildlife, and above all its people, and decided they wanted to make it their home away from home.

They made the decision to share in their passion of Belize with others and purchased The Lucky Duck Villas sight unseen during COVID.  At the time Belize was locked down to all international travel. However, with the diligent efforts of their agent, several video tours, and countless phone calls they put in an offer on their chunk of paradise.  When the borders opened they immediately came to Belize and started the process of remodeling and renovating this incredible property in Placencia. After 12 long months of more video calls with their contractor they did their soft open in September of 2021, and grand opening on November 1st, 2021.

Their goal is to create a tranquil space that washes away all the daily stress of everyday life while experiencing everything that Belize has to offer.  They frequently migrate to the resort to check up on things, and personally manage every email and phone call.  When they are not at the property they have their trusted Property Managers taking care of the guests and managing the day to day operations of the Villas.
